MAKING All our rugs are made in the standard horizontal handloom. The vertical looms are used for smaller ones. It is done by both men and women (skilled labor). The skill of the weaver lies in maintaining the right tension across the weaves while it is stretched. The cotton yarn is also Handspun. 

USES Smaller size rugs could be used for bedding as bed covers, the medium is mainly used for floor coverings in rooms and walkways. The very large sizes are only made against specific orders but cater weddings, storekeeper, religious & govt. institutions. 

DHURRIES could also be used as an upholstery option for stools, sofa, benches, etc. 

DYES India has been knowing for its dyes and their fastness. All dyes that we use are natural dyes that combine harmoniously with each other and fade even when exposed to light, lasting longer than chemical dyes. We use all Vegetable color dyes. The natural color (almost white) of the ready-bleached cotton yarn is extensively used. INDIGO is the hot favorite color that comes from the Indigo shrub (Indigofera tine-Toria) mainly from leaves. 

Washing Instructions - Cotton rugs are very easy to clean. We recommend blotting any stains or using a soft brush with soapy water to eliminate any larger patches. Sundry the rugs flat or blot moisture using thick towels. This makes it an ideal choice for areas in your house with heavy traffic like your kids' room or entryways. It is also manageable in houses with pets due to its durable and maintenance-free nature.
