SEASON
During the winter dormancy, Selim Hill fertilises and prepares itself for the coming of Spring. And Spring appears like a glorious hornbill, with the coming of March. The bushes develop a dark green texture and the leaves begin flushing as they rise towards the heavens. The season is still cool and breezy, and the freshness can be felt in your cup.

DRY LEAF
Silver, greenish in colour. Our leaves are rough, long, and bold. Like a Persian carpet, the inconsistency of our leaves is a mark of the authenticity of our product.

LIQUORING
Lime greenish fading into the white cup.

AROMA
Delicate, floral notes, and fresh-cut-field aromas.

Nurtured by the Selim Hill Forest, your First Flush teas are grown under the shadow of the bamboo groves of the famed Andheri Section, home to the roving elephants of the region. Very rare are the Green Teas that are produced in Darjeeling during this season.
