
We are Designers and Makers, with keen interest on handmade products and craftsmanship. We believe in learning by doing, and hence all our products are modelled, prototyped and tested well before getting into the market.  
The Team is led by Architect and Furniture Designer Kirti Jalan, an alumna of CEPT University Ahmedabad. 

We work with rattan and bamboo as material of design, be it interior installation, furniture or product, we design all of them. We leverage our designs by allowing complete customization, there  by giving the user ample choices. 

Why Rattan & Bamboo ?

Common knowledge dictates that cutting down trees from the rain forest destroys our environment and once cut, the trees will not grow back. One has to replant new trees and it takes many decades for a tree to mature. Rattan/Bamboo however, grows again and at a very fast pace. Rattan can only be found in the rain forest as rattan needs trees for it to wrap on to reach for sunlight. This means that as long as there are trees in the rain forest, rattan will always be a sustainable raw material.

This material can be found in the rainforests in Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Sumatra. There are so many animals inhabiting these areas, including the famous and endangered orangutans. These poor animals are losing their natural habitats by humans cutting down trees illegally for financial benefits.

There are two variations for the same, 1) Floor standing mannequin, 2) Ceiling Hung Mannequin. 1) Floor standing Mannequins consist of detachable torso and a base stand. They are well balanced and take light or heavy fabric on it very comfortably. Easy to install &amp; maintain. Appropriate for holding designer wear or can be used as a sculpture all by itself. OLA - ALO, as the name suggests, is an ALO blooming in two opposite directions - fused in the center through an intricate central bend requiring expert craftsmanship. Decorative Lights

Alo is about finding an obscure symmetry and balance, with strips of rattan - bent, twisted &amp; wrapped. Its a resultant of traditional handicraft skills combined with software generated forms. The double axes curve allow it look different when viewed from different angles. Brass nails are used as our signature design detail. Easy to install and maintain. A piece which can go very well with all style of interiors be it ethnic or futuristic.

Mimic is a work/study from home chair, the aesthetics of the chair is warm and minimal, thereby making it a perfect fit in home ambience, the design is nail free and made in joineries, the spacing between rattan reeds on the seat bucket, keeps a person well ventilated and minimize the sweat. The sewil base with tilt helps one to change their back posture and allows one to move freely.
